I wish I never met you, yet it felt like a dream when I first saw you.

Behind a smile, there are always tears of sorrow.

Things that I thought would bring us closer, actually drifted our relationship further apart.

The only thing you gave me were the memories.
To me, its the most special thing, and I'll never forget it.

Promises are meant to be broken.

Let me live in my own fantasy. I'd rather dream than face reality.

Once upon a mid-summer breeze,

I was doodling random things on my porch.

As the wind blows through the pages of my sketchbook,

I look up, and I see this woman who amazed me with her beauty.

Birds were flying with her blue floral dress,

            singing a melody with the wind.

She had a basket in her hand,

            something which seemed like she had made herself.

It was filled with white lilies from her garden.

As the wind blows again,

            I could smell the simplicity in her, and the love of nature she shows.

I tried to draw a sketch of her, but I couldn’t.

            Her beauty was so great that it wasn’t meant to be put on paper.

She turned around, looked at me, and smiled.

I had this nervous look on my face; I didn’t know what to do.

            It seemed as if I had forgotten how to smile.

I smiled back, and I smiled like I’ve never smiled before.

She walked up to me; put her hand on my shoulder,

            and said three words.

The first and last time I heard her voice,

            saying those three words that I’ll never forget.

“You’re so adorable.”

I wanted to say thank you, but before I could, she slowly faded away.

I tried to hold on to her, but I couldn’t. She was gone.

I felt weak. And there I was, on the floor, crying.

I questioned myself.

            Why did I let her leave like that?

As the tears rolled down my face, they landed on the floor.

            There was a glow.

I looked down and saw a pocket watch, with a lily next to it.

I opened the watch, and saw a picture of her.

            There was a message. I read it, and smiled.

“Never cry because of something that you have lost,

but smile because it once appeared in your life.”

I have nothing in remembrance of her,

            but those three words that she said to me.

                        And the pocket watch.

I’ll never forget the day I saw her,

Nor will I ever forget this beautiful woman that walked by me,

            Once upon a mid-summer breeze.

I'd Love to Say Sorry...But I Just Can't

Did it hurt when you fell off your high horse?

Well I'm glad you're back from your ego trip.

You had a taste of your own medicine.

And it must've really made you sick.

The look you gave me when I snapped back.

Almost hurt me when i bounced right back.

The dosage I gave you was just a taste

Of what you shove down my throat almost everyday.

Unfortunately I'm not made of stone.

And my conscience kileed me before I even got home.

But to apologize would mean to back down

From the one time I actually stodd my ground.

Now I hate myself for hating you.

But you little eqiups were nothing new.

You gave me more than I could take.

And I fought back before I could think.

I guess what I did was kind of wrong.

But I'm used to being a ticking time bomb.

Imploding though is my M.O.

I don't sually let my emotions show.

Still I took my anger out on you.

Something I don't usually do.

Now I'd love to rewind and take it all back.

I'd love to say sorry but I just can't

there are some days wen i feel like givin` it all up

yet there are times that i wish wud last forever

nd things that i wish never happened

nd people that i`ve only known for a while..seems like i`ve known them since i was born

smiles that i wish were never true

wen i was really speaking the truth yet they thought i wasn`t

screaming wen it was unneccesary

having hope wen there was nothing to hope for

questioning myself wen the answers are right in front of me

wondering why nothing goes right

pretending that nothing happened...yet no one really knew anyways

confused on why things are so confusing

laughing at myself for doing the most stupid things

acting like an idiot and asking myself why i do that
